What is the STAYs channel on Stationhead?
The STAYs Channel on Stationhead is a fan-run streaming station where Stray Kids fans (STAYs) gather to stream music together. All stations within the STAYs Channel are syndicated, meaning streams from any of them contribute to the channel's overall streaming goals. However, only one station can actively syndicate at a time. You’ll recognize it by the “Syndicating to STAYs” banner. When you join the STAYs Channel, you’ll be placed on whichever station is currently in active syndication. Since this can change at any time, you're not guaranteed to stay on a specific station. To stay on a station of your choice, use its direct link or search for its name in the Stationhead app and join it manually.
How to park your account
Want to park your account? Do NOT mute your app or device. Instead, join the station, then lower your device volume or plug in headphones. Your streams will still count toward plays!
When parking on desktop, DO NOT mute the browser tab. Instead, mute your computer.
How can we have multiple accounts?
One person can legitimately manage multiple Stationhead accounts, as long as each account is fully separate and follows key guidelines to ensure all streams count as valid.
Each Stationhead account must:
Be registered with a unique and valid email address
Be linked to a separate premium Spotify or Apple Music subscription
Be logged in and actively listening on its own separate device
Not overlap or duplicate activity with other accounts
It’s important that there are no simultaneous logins on multiple Stationhead accounts from the same device, and that each account uses a different streaming subscription. Overlapping or duplicate usage can trigger Spotify filtering systems—causing streams to be disqualified.Examples of what not to do:
Creating two Stationhead accounts and linking both to the same Spotify Premium subscription. Even if used on two devices, Spotify may detect the shared source and filter one—or both—of the streams.
Logging into two Stationhead accounts on the same device using different emails. Even if they’re connected to separate streaming accounts, the shared device ID may raise red flags.
Running multiple Stationhead accounts in different tabs or windows on the same phone or computer. This still counts as one device and risks stream invalidation.
To ensure your streams count:
Use only one Stationhead account per device
Link each account to a different, paid streaming subscription
Avoid switching between accounts mid-session or reusing logins across devices
This method is often used by STAYs who have access to multiple streaming accounts (like family plans or extra subscriptions) and are willing to use separate devices. When done properly, it’s a powerful and completely valid way to increase streaming volume while complying with all platform rules. This also allows for STAYs to keep their accounts from being flagged by letting one rest for a few hours while using another or to rotate using Stationhead and Playlists.By following these guidelines when using multiple Stationhead and streaming accounts, you’re helping make sure every stream truly supports Stray Kids
Why do we sometimes get kicked to the STAYS channel?
Unfortunately, this is a known Stationhead glitch that occasionally happens, even during DJ switches. It automatically redirects some listeners back to the STAYs channel. While this issue is out of our control, we're doing everything we can to minimize its impact. If you join our station on a PC, make sure to use the direct link to our station (www.stationhead.com/stayonair) to avoid getting redirected.
